HOURLY CARE PROGRAM: Are you in need of hourly care for your child? Families now have the option of utilizing the child development programs and family child care providers for their hourly care needs, however, hourly care is no longer available in the Kittyhawk facility. Hourly care is provided on a space available basis at Wright Field South CDC, Wright Field North CDC, New Horizons CDC, Wright Care CDC, and through the family child care program. Child Development Centers offer care for children 6 month to 5 years of age and Family Child Care providers offer hourly care for children 6 months to 12 years of age. CDC hourly care is available 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday not to exceed 10 hours. FAMILY CHILD CARE ORIENTATION CLASS: Family Child Care is seeking new home day care providers. Participants in the program are offered training and free advertising of their business to the base community. Providers also have access to large lending library to borrow much of the necessary equipment for their childcare business. Most providers fill their day care openings very quickly particularly their infant care slots. Classes are held 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Family Child Care office located in building 6933. Please call the FCC office at 255-5053 ext. 374/375 for more information and an application packet.

LICENSED REQUIRED: Reminder: In accordance with AFI 34-276, you must be licensed to care for children in your military housing. Failure to become license may result in loss of housing privileges. For more information, call 255-5053 ext. 374 or 375.
